Legends never die

A legend is something that never dies. When you think of a legend you think of something that was great and better than the rest at what they do. When you hear the name Kobe the word legend rings in your head continuously. We may not have known the late nba superstar personally or the others that past with him but the tragic new from Sunday January 26th left us stunned, devastated, and heartbroken. The impression that Kobe left on us before his tragic accident was legendary. 5 time champion, two time finals mvp, one league mvp, two time Olympic gold medalist, voted an all star 17 times of his 20 seasons. Kobe played the game like no other. The mamba mentality taught us to never settle for nothing less than being the best. Kobe’s mentality on and off the court left the impression in our head that will never be forgotten. His mentality not only left an impression on us as fans but also on his teammates, coaches, and opponents. Kobe was the ultimate competitor. Kobe learned different languages to trash talk opponents from different countries. He learned 7 different languages with part of this as the reason. The legend of Kobe also goes off the court from mentoring younger players holding basketball camps for kids at mamba university and working with other players in the off season. All of these reasons are stories in their own but they all collectively build on the legacy that we know as the black mamba. Legends never die they will always be remembered. Kobe touched allot of people, weather it was being his teammate, opponent, or seeing him doing as a kid and going outside to react that move. He will forever be missed in flesh but never forgotten as a legend.
